With more than 40 years of experience in home improvement, Justin Bartley has built his career on a simple but powerful belief: every homeowner deserves exceptional craftsmanship and a team they can trust. As the owner and founder of NEXT Door and Window, Justin brings decades of hands-on expertise and an unwavering passion for helping customers protect, beautify, and invest in their homes. His journey began on the south side of Chicago, where he got his start installing and servicing garage doors — learning the trade from the ground up and developing the hands-on work ethic that still defines NEXT Door and Window today.

Justin’s commitment to building a company the right way has earned NEXT Door and Window some of the most respected recognitions in the industry. The company has been named a Crain’s Chicago Business Best Workplace multiple times — a testament to the culture of excellence, respect, and opportunity that Justin has worked hard to cultivate from the ground up. That same dedication to integrity earned NEXT Door and Window the prestigious BBB Torch Award for Ethics, one of only six to ten businesses recognized each year from a field of over a hundred vetted nominees.

Holding a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from St. Xavier University, Justin pairs real-world trade experience with strong business acumen. He is a passionate advocate for the skilled trades in America and dedicates significant time to training and coaching the next generation of home services professionals, believing that investing in people is the foundation of any great company.

That same spirit of investment extends to the communities NEXT Door and Window serves. Justin is a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity, donating windows and doors each year to help families build stronger, more independent lives. He also champions the Sheilah A. Doyle Foundation, a local nonprofit providing camp experiences and grief resources to children ages 7–17 who have lost a parent or sibling to homicide — a cause close to his heart.

I began my career with the Next family over 20 years ago as an installer. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in and support every department within the company, gaining a deep understanding of our operations from the ground up. Today, I serve as Operations Manager, overseeing multiple production teams including Re-measure, Pre-Finish, Installation, Warehouse Operations, and our Service Department. My hands-on experience across the organization allows me to lead with both practical knowledge and a strong commitment to quality. At Next, our reputation is built on trust, workmanship and service. My commitment is to lead our teams in exceeding customer expectations and ensuring every homeowner feels confident and happy with their window and door investment. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my kids, family and friends. In the winter you can usually find me at an ice rink, and in the summer, on the golf course – making the most out of every season.

Nick began his marketing career with Fortune 50 media companies, helping local businesses reach new customers at scale. As digital channels evolved, he led clients and teams through digital transformation, driving efficient top- and bottom-line growth. Having lived in Indiana, Michigan, and Texas, Nick has worked with business owners across industries and sizes and is passionate about creating measurable impact through marketing.

Today, he brings that passion to the customer-centric home services space, where he’s aligned with NEXT’s mission to deliver a home improvement experience customers truly love. When he’s not thinking about marketing, Nick can be found cheering on his 6-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter at their school events, sports, and outdoor adventures.
